GYM ETIQUETTE

  • Please sanitize hands before entering gym
  • Please sanitize all equipment after use
  • Appropriate sports attire including proper training shoes and t shirts must be worn.
  • No street shoes or jeans will be allowed in training hall.
  • Always return weights to rack after use
  • Do not block exercise stations by leaving towels etc any longer than necessary to complete sets
  • Always give way to other participants when resting between sets.
  • Please adhere to the advice of instructors and exercise safely.
  • Always respect the gym equipment, do not drop weights.
  • When lifting heavy weights please have a ‘Spotter’ present.

  • Always consult a physician before undertaking any new training programme.
  • Please fill out membership information sheet in advance of training
  • If you have any injuries or illness please inform our instructors before training
  • If you have any special needs or require any special assistance please let us know
  • Take it easy the first few sessions
    If you feel dizzy or short of breath – take a rest.
  • If you are unsure about an exercise please ask our instructors.
  • If you are unsure how to use equipment please ask our instructors
  • Training programmes should be reviewed on a regular basis.
